The course is aimed at employees, supervisors and managers wanting a general grounding in health and safety.

HSE implement new cost recovery scheme

The HSE's new cost recovery scheme (Fee for Intervention) came into force on Monday 1st October 2012. The Health and Safety (Fees) Regulations 2012 will mean that any business breaking health and safety laws will be liable for the recovery of related costs incurred by the HSE including inspection, investigation and taking enforcement action.

Colin Nottage of IMG has been contacted to develop a training course on silica dust for the Construction Partnership Team

The CPT is a group comprising of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the unions and major construction companies throughout the UK. This work has come off the back of an extremely successful campaign on Silica dust developed for the quarrying industry. The construction industry project is extremely exciting and will help reduced the over 500 deaths a year from silica exposure.
